| o my goodness yesterday was one of the best days i have had in a long long time! i dropped jen (wallis) off at the airport at like 5 in the morning and that was prettty sad but cool cuz i'll get to see her in only 3 months! then i went back home and slept. i didn't set an alarm, i just slept til i woke up. that in itself is amazing. then my mom called and i talked to her for a bit while cleaning my room. i didn't have anything that i had to do so i took my time and it took a couple of hours to get everything right again. during that time i talked to a few people including my grandparents. ahh it was so relaxed! i loved it. then i went out and got a few errands done . returned some stuff and sent some letters to people that me and jen had written. after that i just made dinner watched movies and just chilled by myself. i didn't know i needed that! weird usually i like to be with people all the time but i loved being on my own. later that evening lauren called me and we went to get coffee and decided to watch a movie. shortly thereafter i got a call from steve....he and bobby had gone on a walk and they needed to be picked up. they were past galina! yikes. i didn't want to go bymyself so i dragged jen matthew along and 3 hours later we had the boys and finally got back to school. it only took half a tank of gas and some brilliant turns and reverseing that i made. they promised to never do something that stupid again! boys and girls def do not see things on the same page lol! man i love iowa! | | |
| so i think that xanga is a dying out race of online journals. funny how different fads come and go. remember the gigapets...? i guess that proves that change is a good thing sometimes. well in the last month i have pretty much been on a roller coaster of emotions. going from happy to sad to happy. everything happens for a reason and i have learned a LOT. friends come and go but the Lord is constant and the strength in my life. i work for my school now taking out the trash and cleaning bathrooms. its not my favortie jobs of all time but i try and do the best i can in all i do so i think that makes a difference. its funny how old i feel in some aspects and how young i feel in others. sometimes i get frustrated with the place i am in life but for the most part i am grateful fo the things i do have! jen wallis might come out and visit me in iowa we're trying to twist shannon's arm in that as well but we'll see what happens. for the 3 amigos to be together 3 times in one year i guess is to much to ask for! alright well my life is calling for me to dive back into it. i'm not sure how much i'll be on this but joing myspace and i'll probably get to talk to you more. although..maybe not...pretty much just come visit me or CALL me! cuz how else will i know how ur life is going? | | |
| moving day! we're helping our bro move out to washington state but as we started putting things in the moving van it started rainin! i don't think we have ever tried to move when it didn't start raining, or snowing, or noreastering. lol. i almost got squished by a couch but it's all good. i leave to go back to school tomorrow. that's pretty exciting. i looove school. it'll be nice to see all my pals again. o well lets see what the future brings! hope everyone is doing well in the new year! love you guys | | |
| after lots of airport issues i finally got to the east coast and was able to see jessica get married! me and jen finally made it to shannon's house after making a quick stop in ny lol. it was nice getting the 3 amigos back together! jessica made a beautiful bride but i still can't wrap my mind around the fact that she's married. we finally met med or medhead as jen affectionately calls him. he seems like a really nice guy. we were so scared that he wouldn't like us cuz we're weird! but he didn't seem to not like us. so that's a good sign. we went back to nj after that and i got to see my grandparents and cousins. we even got to stay for the belmar christmas play. we were almost back in ny again but we finally made it back to jen's house. all in all a pretty crazy weekend. we drank lots of yummy coffee. sad to say though jen's pretty much an addict. i think i'm ready to go back to school! :) time for some new adventures. | | |
